The Peninsula Spay/Neuter Project promotes and provides funding for spay and neuter services for pet cats and dogs, plus feral cats in an effort to stop the killing of companion animals due to overpopulation. They are an all-volunteer, IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. No staff members are paid for their services, so that all donations go directly to providing supplies and services for the animals. |

Kindred Souls Foundation |
Kindred Souls Foundation provides sanctuary to dogs and cats of all ages, a holistic approach to their care, and provide education on the rewards and responsibilities of animal companionship. Everyday dogs are euthanized at shelters because there is no room. Kindred Souls Foundation is a no-kill, 501c3 non-profit animal welfare organization looking for special people who will open their hearts and homes to foster these precious soils. Fostering an animal requires investment of time as well as an emotional and financial commitment. Kindred Souls covers ALL medical costs for the animal while in foster care. Foster parents are responsible for the following: - providing the animal with in-going quality nutrition
- providing the animal with social interaction, one-on-one nurturing, play, and exercise
- transporting the animal to appointments
- administering medication to the animal if needed
- keeping the animal in-doors (with written exceptions as per the specific case)
- maintain a safe environment for the animal

Dugan Foundation |
The Dugan Foundation was incorporated in February of 2003 and has a ten year goal to succeed in having Peirce County be a No-Kill Community by 2013. They provide grants, business/leadership skills, community programs and public outreach to existing organizations that embody the vision and mission of the Foundation. 2006 projects included 'Woofstock' - Inaugural Summertime Adoption Music Festival and 'Happy Howlidays' - Inaugural Holiday Community Donation Program.
